Sab Kushal Mangal Movie Review – Efficient in this Story

Sab Kushal Mangal Movie review – There is nothing efficient in this story, nothing is mangal

Artists- Akshaye Khanna, Priyank Sharma, Rewa Kishan, Supriya Pathak, Satish Kaushik

‘Jabariya Jodi’ is followed by another film on the catch marriage, titled ‘Sab Kushal Mangal‘. The story is that of Gunda Baba Bhandari (Akshaye Khanna), a local leader of Colonelganj, who forcibly captures the boys and marries them, whose family is unable to give dowry to the boys. That is, in his eyes, he is a philanthropist. In the same sequence, he kidn aps Pappu Mishra (Priyank Sharma), a TV journalist, but from here the story takes a turn. Bhandari falls in love at first sight with the same girl (Reva Kishan), for whom he kidnapped the journalist. Now the story of the film revolves around whom the girl gets married.

It is a weak film made on a good subject. In this story, the director has tried to mix comedy but has failed. Akshaye Khanna makes a stunning entry in the first scene, curled mustache, and long hair fit his character. But these actors, who were impressed by their performances, have also been unable to do anything different here. Both the new faces of the film Priyank Sharma and Reva Kishan are good in their roles, but the chemistry between the two is zero. Reva Kishan in the role of Mandira, a fast-paced girl, has tried to be completely fair. It is not wrong to say that all the characters are victims of weak writing. Influential artists like Supriya Pathak and Satish Kaushik have been given boring dialogues. He is seen battling in dialogues.

While the first half of the film arouses little interest, nothing can be said about where the story is going in the second half. In some scenes, the characters only talk about Basir Leet, who also has nothing to do with the story. Along with the writing of Bijendra Karla, editing of Prashant Singh Rathore is also a weak side. The film reaches neither your heart nor your mind. The film has also failed to deliver a social message. Director Karan Vishwanath Kashyap has made the film cumbersome.

The film has music by Harshit Saxena, which is average. The songs are filmed well but fit anywhere in the story. So, she seems like a hindrance. The film ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ talks about whispering important issues like catch-up marriages, dowry, but no concrete thought or logic has been put forward. 1.5 stars to ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ from Filmbeat.
