Mardaani 2 Film Review
Artist- Rani Mukerji, Vishal Jethwa “More than 2000 rapes are committed in India by boys under the age of 18 every year” With this report, director Gopi Puthran has told why the film is from the beginning of the film. And with what intention. In the 2014 film ‘Mardaani’, Shivani Shivaji Roy settled the case of child trafficking in Mumbai. At the same time, she has now become SP and is working with strong intentions to prevent rape incidents in Kota. The film’s debut as a sequel is effective. Already, writer-director Gopi Puthran has tried to establish the cruelty of the eccentric killer, which becomes even more frightening scene by scene.
Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani Mukherjee) has now become SP after getting promotion from Crime Branch Officer and is working in Kota, Rajasthan. Kota, where thousands of children come every year to prepare for engineering, medical, has been making headlines in the news about rape incidents. On the day of Dussehra, a girl is kidnapped and after two days is found dead in the drain. He is raped and beheaded. This rapist (Vishal Jethwa) under 18 is extremely vicious and cruel. In such a situation, how SP Shivani Shivaji Roy reaches the culprit and the conditions that are created in the meantime, it is quite shocking.

Rani Mukerji is a powerful actress and with Mardaani 2, she has once again appeared in front of the audience in an impressive style. Rani Mukerji with clever, shrewd, bold style and strong intentions shows every emotion on her face. The pain of the brutality of the rape victim is also visible on his face. At the same time, he is also supportive of action sequences. But the strong standing in front of Rani Mukherjee is Vishal Jethwa. The way Vishal looks innocent and the cruelty and eccentricity is overwhelming. It would not be wrong to say that he has dominated in many scenes. Vishal has worked in television before and Mardaani 2 is his first film. Shruti Bapna, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Deepika Amin, etc. have done a good job as co-stars.
The story, screenplay, dialogue, and direction of the film was in the hands of Gopi Puthran and he has also been successful in delivering a strong film. His direction is quite simple. The film’s fast pace and storyline focused on the subject do not give you a chance to get bored. On some occasions, the handwriting is weak, especially where the police do not recognize even after seeing the criminal in front. Almost all the men in the film have been tried to show anti-women. Which stings a little. In the film, along with women’s safety, there is little talk about the inequality spread in society towards women. The film reaches a different height as it travels to the Climax. The message of the film is very clear and powerful, which is very much needed to understand today.
Monisha Baldwa must be praised for excellent editing. The film tells the entire story in just a quarter to two hours and this fast pace makes it stronger. The first half of the film is as simple as the second half, it keeps you tied. There are no songs to interrupt the story, and the background score by John Stewart Eduri is also very comfortable.
See or not see
There is no doubt that today it is a very important and logical film. The film does not promise to change society, but if some people even think, it is a victory for the film. “Mardaani 2” gives a message to a woman to be vigilant and strong as well as strengthen the law. The film stars 3 on behalf of the Filmibeast.
